SERVICES HELD FOR TRUMAN PEDERSON AT NEILLSVILLE


Funeral services were scheduled for Monday at 1:30 p.m., at the Georgas-Gesche funeral home for Truman L. Pederson, 68, Route 3, Neillsville, Clark County, who passed away late Friday, Sept. 24, 1976 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Rev. William Noble, pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiated and burial was made in the Neillsville Cemetery.


Truman L. Pederson was born Oct. 9, 1907, in Iowa, and moved to Clark County at an early age. He received his education in Greenwood and Colby Schools, and attended vocational school in Milwaukee.


He worked for the Northern States Power Company, and then served in the Armed Forces during World War II. Returning to civilian life he operated Pederson Electric in Neillsville until his retirement in 1968, because of ill health.


He was married June 26, 1937, at Neillsville, to the former Alma A. Wegner, and she survives him.


Other survivors include a sister, Mrs. Velda Wussow, Colby.


One sister, Fern, preceded him in death.

Pederson, Truman L. (9 Oct 1907 - 24 September 1976)

Funeral services were held September 27 from the Georgas-Gesche Funeral home for Truman L. Pederson, 68, of Rt. 3 Neillsville, who died September 24. The Rev. William Noble of the United Methodist Church officiated, and burial followed in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Franklin Hrasky, Lawrence Mueller, Dwayne Felser, Leland Buddenhagen, Darrel Raine and Edwin Sternitzky. Mrs. Deon Spangler was the organist.

Among those attending the services were the following from out-of-town were, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thur, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Thur, Mrs. Harold Thur and Mrs. Ethel Klatt, Fairchild; Mrs. Wm. Erickson, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Sternitzky, Granton; Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Mueller, Conrath; Mr. and Mrs. Faune Durni, Hatfield; Miss Arlene Brickheimer, Cable; Mrs. Della Erickson, Strum.
