THORP--Ponidski, Franz ( -1901)

Died, at the hospital in Chippewa Falls Aug. 13, after brief illness, Franz Ponidski of the town of Thorp. The deceased came here from Tonawanda, N.Y., about six months ago and settled on a piece of land near the Junction on the S.N. P.R.R. He leaves a wife and six small children in poor circumstances.
