Prokopiak, Victoria (1921 - 1999)
Victoria A. (Kozielek) Prokopiak, 77, of Thorp died May 4, 1999, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.
Victoria was born May 20, 1921, in Chicago, Illinois to Lottie and
Cazimir Kozielek. She married Bernard J. Prokopiak on August 22,
1942, at St. Hedwig's Church in Chicago, Illinois. She was a member
of St. Bernard's-St. Hedwig's Parish and a member of the Women's
Guild.
Survivors include her children: Bernard Jr. (Sharon) of Des
Plaines, IL Lambert (Diane) of Wheeling, IL Irene (Walter) Brown of
Arlington, VA Ann of Stanley, WI Jeanne (John) Moriarity of Falls
Church, VA, Virginia (Paul) Sweckard of Odon, IN, Mary (Robert)
Powell of St. Charles, IL, Barbara of Parma, OH, Francis of
Stanley, WI, Lillian (Kenneth) Seubert of Marshfield, WI, Lottie
Dombrowski of Lublin, WI, Therese (Patrick) Seubert of Sussex, WI,
Robert of Medord, WI and David (Noreen) of Thorp Grandchildren:
Michael (Agatha), Lori, Bonnie, Amy, Elizabeth, Gregory (dena),
David, Joseph, Janet, Kevin (Tanya), Regina, Susan, Jennifer,
Julie, Caroline, Ann, David, Victoria, Michelle, Joseph,
Christopher, Julie, Angela, David, Phyllis, Krystal, Heather,
Holly, Robert Jr., Breanna, Rachel, Lana and Amber
Great-grandchildren: Michael Jr., Devin, Hanna, Tyler, and
Jacob.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bernard, two
sons: Kenneth and Casimir and a granddaughter, Stacey.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 7, 1999, 10:30 a.m. at St.
Hedwig's Catholic Church, Thorp, WI with Rev. John W. Puerner
officiating. Ted Czech had the reading at the Mass and distributed
communion. Burial was at St. Hedwig's Cemetery, Thorp, WI.
Pallbearers were Casey Zajack, Robert Prokopiak, Bernard Prokopiak, Lambert Prokopiak, David Prokopiak and Francis Prokopiak. Visitation was at the Thorp Funeral Home Thursday evening.
