ELMER ELSTROM
Elmer Elstrom, age 85, Route 1, Loyal, Clark County, died at St.
Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, Sunday, Oct. 10, 1976 at 9:10 a.m.
Funeral services were held at the Rux-Lulloff Funeral Home, colby,
on Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1976 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Robin O.
Fink officiating. Burial was made in the Colby Memorial
Cemetery.
Mr. Elstrom was born Oct. 1, 1891, in the Town of Green Grove,
Clark County. He attended Colby schools. As a young man he worked
in the woods in Wisconsin, in the western wheat field and in Canada
on the railroad. He married Olive Crawford on June 5, 1932 at
Davenport, Iowa. After their marriage they farmed in the Town of
Green Grove from 1932 until 1944 and in the Town of Loyal from 1944
until the present.
Surviving are his wife Olive, three sisters, Mrs. Viggo (Clara)
Marcussen, Waukegan, Ill. Mrs. John (Lena) Spaulding, Melrose and
Mrs. Bill (Lucille) Larson, Madison two brothers, Carl Elstrom,
Colby and Ole Elstrom, Abbotsford. One sister preceded him in
death.
