DENNIS RAY HAASE
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 26, at St.
Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood, for Dennis Ray Haase, 18, Route
1, Loyal, Clark County, who was killed in a one car accident on
Saturday, Oct. 23, 1976 on a Town of Beaver road near his home.
Father Chester Osowski of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal,
officiated at the ceremony, and burial was made at St. Mary's
Cemetery, Greenwood.
Dennis Haase was born at Marshfield on March 5, 1958. He received
his education at Greenwood Public Schools, graduating in May 1976.
He was presently employed at Figi's in Marshfield. He was a member
of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood, and had been a FFA member
during all four of his high school years.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Haase, Route 1,
Loyal, Clark County three brothers, Allen, Spokane, Wash. David,
Schofield and Richard, at home two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Ruth)
Molloy, Belevidere, Ill. and Debbie, at home.
Pallbearers were Harold Wagner, Bernie Envick, Bruce Eslinger, Mike
Peterson, Merlin Gerrits and Tom Stong (Strong?). Rinka Funeral
Home, Greenwood, was in charge of arrangements.

Haase, Dennis Ray (5 March 1958 – 31 October 1976)
Dennis Ray Haase, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Haase, Rt. 1, Loyal, died early
Sunday morning, when the car he was driving overturned a half mile from his
home.
Haase was born March 5, 1958, in Marshfield and attended the Greenwood Grade and
High School, graduating in May. At the time of death, he was employed in
Marshfield. While in high school, he was a member of the Future Farmers of
America for four years. He also was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by three brothers, Allen of Spokane,
Wa., David of Schofield, and Richard, at home, and two sisters, Mrs. Robert
(Ruth) Molloy of Belvidere, Il., and Debbie, at home.
Funeral services were held October 26 from St. Mary’s Catholic Church in
Greenwood. The Rev. Chester J. Osowski, pastor of St. Anthony’s in Loyal,
officiated. Burial was made in the St. Mary’s cemetery.

Merlin Gerrits and Tom Stong.
