MARK F. SCHUMAN, 76

GREENWOOD--Services were held Wednesday morning at St. Mary's Catholic Church here for Mark F. Schuman, 76, husband of Dora Horn, formerly of Greenwood, Clark County, who died Sept 25, 1965, at a hospital in Watertown, S.D. The Rev. Edward Hartung officiated and burial was made in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Braun Settlement at Greenwood.

Pallbearers were Leroy Wadzinski, Darrel Horn, Gerald Horn, Lloyd Horn, Donald Horn and Herbert Horn.

Attending the services from out of town were Mrs. Olga Eich, Fred Burghard, Mr. and Mrs. John Schaefer and Mrs. Lorena Owens, Chicago Mrs. Al Resech, Milwaukee Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Horn and family, Barrington, Ill. Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Wadzinski, Junction City, and many other relatives and friends from the Willard and Greenwood area.

Mr. Schuman was born April 1, 1889, at Momence, Ill. His marriage to Dora Horn took place Oct. 1, 1919, at St. Paul, Minn. After their marriage they operated a farm at Onaka, S.D., until their retirement. Since then they had spent the summers in Watertown, S.D., and the winter months at Lake Alfred, Fla.

In addition to his wife, he leaves two sisters, Mrs. Olga Eich and Mrs. Emma Meyers, both of Chicago.

A brother an two sisters preceded him in death.
