CARL JOHNSON


Carl Hugo Johnson, 75, of 3118 Homestead Ave., Davenport, Iowa, died Nov. 12, 1976 at 2:45 a.m. at Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Davenport, after an extended illness.


Services were at 10 a.m. Monday at Runge Chapel. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.


Mr. Johnson had worked in lumber camps in Wisconsin. He later was employed at Sears Manufacturing Co., Davenport.


He was born in Beaver Township, Clark County. He married Alreida Best Millhouse in 1946 in Davenport.


Survivors include his wife sons, Wesley and High, both of Winters, Wis., a stepdaughter, Mrs. Clarence (Loretta) Dumerhauf, Bettendorf stepson, Vernon Millhouse, Maquoketa, Iowa, and Raymond Millhouse, Fontana, Calif. nine grandchildren six great-grandchildren sisters, Mrs. Chester Hebert, Loyal, Wis., and Mrs. Clarence Karnapp, Wyoming, and a brother, Ulysses Caine, Loyal.
