OBITUARY
 

HERMAN SCHWARZE, SR.


In his home in the town of Williamstown on Tuesday night, Herman Schwarze, Sr. died at the age of seventy-six years, five months and fifteen days after a long illness. The deceased, who for thirty-five years lived in the town of Williamstown, was operated of December 12th after suffering from asthma for twenty years. He was born July 23, 1924, in Furstenthm, Lippe-Detmold, and came to America in 1856. Two years later, in 1858, he was married to Louise, nee Puls, who died twenty-one years ago. He leaves one son, Herman Schwarze, Jr., as well as three daughters, Mrs. August Beyer of Greenwood, Clark County, Wisconsin, Mrs. Emil Reetz and Mrs. Louise Mueller of Milwaukee. Two sons and one daughter died. The funeral took place today, Friday afternoon, at two o'clock, under the direction of Pastor Ph. Wilhelm, to the Graceland Cemetery in Mayville. "Peace to his ashes."
