ALEX SHANKS DEAD
Alex Shanks, a prominent resident of Greenwood, died at his home in
that city Tuesday, form paralysis. About a week ago he was taken
with the first stroke and appeared to be recovering, but Tuesday he
was prostrated with a second stroke which proved fatal.
Mr. Shanks was well known throughout the county having resided in
Greenwood and vicinity for the past thirty years. He was about 45
years of age at the time of this death. He leaves a wife and three
children, one boy and two girls.
The funeral will be held at Greenwood Friday.
