MINA SISCHO DEAD AT AGE OF 93 YEARS


Mina Sischo, wife of the late Luther Sischo, a Civil War veteran, passed away at her home, 1440 Mission street, Sunday Aug. 3, 1924, at the age of 93 years.


Grandma Sischo, as she was commonly known by her neighbors and friends of whom she had many came to Oregon from Wisconsin with her husband 22 years ago, locating in Salem and having lived here continuously during that time.


Mrs. Sischo was a life long member of the Methodist Church, in which she was a very active worker in her earlier days.


Mrs. Sischo is survived by eight children, Mrs. Mina Morse, a daughter Frank, Edgar and Bert, all of Salem Arthur of Greenwood, Wis., Henry of Michigan, Roy of Christie, Wis and Jesse of New York. She also is survived by 30 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.


Funeral services will be held from Rigdon's mortuary, Tuesday Aug. 5 at 10:00 A.M. (Salem, Oregon)
