Bernice Soeller, 82, Stanley, WI, died Monday, February 8, 1999 at Victory Medical Center, Stanley, WI.


Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 12, 1999 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Stanley with Father Robert Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery, Stanley. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday at Plombon Funeral Home, Stanley.


Bernice was born September 13, 1916 the daughter of Herbert and Ella (Anderson) May. She grew up in the Stanley area and was married to Leonard Soeller October 25, 1938 at St. Anne's Church in Stanley. Bernice and Len farmed east of Stanley for many years. She worked at the Norther Center for a time. Len and Bernice delivered Meals on Wheels for 13 or 14 years. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, PCCW, and St. Jude's Circle.


Surviving are her husband of sixty years, Leonard of Stanley, WI one nephew Robert May of Kenosha, WI Sister-in-Law Evelyn Peterson of Curtiss, WI Brother-in-Law and wife, Norman and Vi Soeller of Stanley, WI Sisters-in-Law: Gertrude Diedrich of Chippewa Falls, WI, Bernadine Benzschawel of Thorp, WI. Special friends: Vaughn and Ameilia Forster of Chippewa Falls, WI, Robert and Gloria Strzyzewski of Chetek, WI many other nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents 1 infant daughter 1 brother LaVerne May 1 nephew Gerald May 1 Sister-in-Law Theresa Wellner.
