MRS. HARRY (NELDA) SCHLINSOG


Funeral rites for Mrs. Harry (Nelda) Schlinsog were held on Thursday Dec. 9 at 11 a.m.


Mrs. Schlinsog, 75, was stricken at her Town of Loyal, Clark County home of an apparent heart attack early Tuesday morning. Dec. 7, 1976.


Rev. Bruno Schlachtenhaufen officiated. Singing was Wallace and Lois Drescher, with Ronald Gluch serving as organist. Rinka Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.


Nelda Drescher was born on March 3, 1901, in the Town of Lynn. She attended rural Chili schools and Neillsville High School. While in high school, she attended a teachers training program. She taught in rural Granton and Chili Schools for six years.


Nelda was married to Harry Schlinsog on June 24, 1924, at Marshfield. Together they operated the Schlinsog Dairy for many years in the Town of Loyal. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1974.


Nelda belonged to Trinity Lutheran Church, the ladies aid and the Pelsdorf Homemakers.


Surviving her besides her husband, Harry, are three sons, Theodore, Loyal William, Middleton and Richard, Marshfield three sisters, Mrs. Helen Lindow, Chili Mrs. William (Mary) Lindow, Chili and Mrs. Adela Rusch, Eustis, Fla. four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.


Pallbearers were Merlon Lindow, Vernon Lindow, Harris Dux, Claire Schlinsog, Ronald Schlinsog and Mark Heirling.
