Ezra Sprotte
(1988 - 1999)
Ezra Elijah Sprotte, 11, Abbotsford, died Thursday, Sept. 23 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield due to a sudden illness.
A funeral service was held Monday, Sept. 27 at St. Peter's Lutheran
Church in Dorchester with Rev. Jerome Freimuth officiating. Burial
was at Dorchester Memorial Cemetery, Clark County, WI. Pallbearers
were David, Russell, Loren, Kevin and Gary Bedroske, and Nathan
Sprotte. Honorary pallbearers were Ben Bedroske, Christopher
Shotliff, Eric Brusky, Tyler Brandl, Vincent Mohan, and Logan
Becker.
Maurina Funeral Home of Dorchester assisted the family with
arrangements.
Ezra Elijah Sprotte was born April 27, 1988 in Marshfield to Steve
and Colleen (Bedroske) Sprotte. He was currently a sixth grade
student at Colby Middle School and played tuba in the band. He
enjoyed sports and was a member of the CUDA Pop Warner football and
wrestling teams, and Milan Little League softball. He was an active
member in the Holton 4-H Club and a member of St. Peter's Lutheran
Church where he attended Sunday School and the TGIF Youth
Group.
He is survived by his parents one brother, Paul, and one sister,
Cassandra, both at home his grandparents, Wallace and Dorothy
Sprotte, Abbotsford, Howard and Myrtle Bedroske, Dorchester, and
Arlene Dennis, Bloomer his great-grandmother, Alma Lineaweaver,
Abbotsford and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial in Ezra's name will be designated at a later
date.
