away at the home of her sister, Mrs. A. J. Currie, June 20, 1927.
She was baptized at the age of eleven years at Baraboo, Wis., (by
her father). Miss Sweet had been connected since 1910 with the
Children's Home Society of Wisconsin, Cedar St., Milwaukee. She

charge of the society. She resigned last fall because of ill health
and came to live with her sister in this city. She was an active
member of the First Baptist Church of Eau Claire.
Her twin sister Ella Eva Sweet Colt preceded her in death June, 26,
1920.
Funeral services were held at the home of her sister in Greenwood,
Clark County, Wednesday afternoon. Her pastor, Rev. Ralph Barry,
conducted the services. She was laid to rest beside her twin sister
in the Baraboo Cemetery. Mrs. Philbrook and Miss Mabel Buss of
Milwaukee, friends of Miss Sweet, met the burial party in Baraboo.
There was also a short service at the grave conducted by Rev.
Sproule, pastor of the Baptist Church of Baraboo.
She leaves to mourn her departure, two brothers, Lewis E. Sweet of
Green Bay and George E. Sweet of Los Angeles, Cal., and one sister,
Mrs. A. J. Currie of Greenwood, Wis., besides a host of friends
throughout the state.
