HELEN SYTH
Helen Marie Syth, 76, Greenwood, Clark
County, died Friday, July 5, 1996, at St. Joseph's Hospital,
Marshfield.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 1996, at
St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood. Father Al Jakubowski
officiated. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Mark Adler, Mike Adler, Scott Adler, Tim Syth,
Ryan Syth and Derek Syth.
Helen Marie Schmidt was born on May 12, 1920, in Norwalk, to Frank
and Helena (nee Pulvermacher) Schmidt.
Her family moved to Neillsville in 1924. She graduated from
Neillsville High School in 1938. She married Reynold Syth on Oct.
25, 1941, in Neillsville. He survives. They farmed for 33 years in
the town of Eaton before retiring and moving to Greenwood in 1979.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and St. Ann's
Society.
Survivors include her husband two daughters, Luanne (Dilip)
Nandwana, Castro Valley, Cal. and Colleen (Dick) Adler, Greenwood
three sons, Dennis (Joyce) Syth, Greenwood Kevin Syth (Diane
Opelt), Greenwood and Kent (Linda) Syth, Oshkosh 11 grandchildren
one great-grandchild one sister, Joan (Jim) Butterfield, Beaver Dam
and one brother, Gerald (Frances) Schmidt, Neillsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and seven
brothers.
Rinka Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
