DELBERT BECKER
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, at
St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal, for Delbert Becker, 69, Route
1, Greenwood, Clark County, who passed away at his home following a
heart attack at about 7:45 p.m., Monday, Jan. 10, 1977.
Rev. Chester Osowski will officiate, with burial in the parish
cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, after
2 p.m. Wednesday. A PCCW service will be held at 3 p.m., and a
prayer service at 8:30 p.m., Wednesday.
Delbert Becker was born in Elizabeth, Ill., on Nov. 22, 1907. He
received his education in Iowa. He came to Loyal, Clark County in
1923, and farmed all his life in the Town of Loyal. On June 19,
1941, he was married to Florence Goetz. He retired in 1973, and
continued to live on the farm with his son, James.
Surviving him are three sons, Arnold, Loyal, James, Greenwood, and
Jerome, Marshfield two brothers, Walter, Loyal and Joseph,
Marshfield two sisters, Mrs. Alfred (Mae) Rondorf, Loyal, and Mrs.
Chris (Corrine) Ryser, Marshfield and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Clemens Esselman, Lawrence Esselman, Richard
Esselman, Edgar Verhalen, Leroy Kauth and Mike Weyer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence and three
brothers.
Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, is in charge of arrangements.
