FRDERICK M. TAYLOR DIES AT
BLACK RIVER FALLS
Frederick M. Taylor died at his home at Black River Falls Tuesday evening, Aug. 30, 1921 of stomach trouble at the age of 65 years, 3 months and 24 days, after an illness of two months.
Mr. Taylor was born at Sparta, Ill., on May 6, 1856. In 1889 he
came to Greenwood, Clark County, where he took charge of the store
of the Greenwood Mercantile Company, later he and the late E. T.
Burch purchased the business, which they successfully conducted a
number of years. In 1902 he sold his interest to Mr. Burch and
returned to Black River Falls. While at Greenwood, Mr. Taylor
served on the board of education on the city council.
Mr. Taylor was a man of excellent character and will be remembered
by most of the people of this community.
