MRS. LYDIA
TIEMAN
GREENWOOD--Services are set at 11 a.m. Saturday at Grace United Methodist Church in Greenwood. She died Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. The Rev. Lorinda Sanford,
pastor, will officiate.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. today and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at
the church.
The former Lydia Wessel was born Oct. 1, 1907 in Greenwood and
attended schools there. She was married to Donald Tieman June 2,
1927 in Illinois. He died in 1967.
After marriage they lived in Janesville and later moved to Thorp.
In 1941 they moved to the Greenwood area where they farmed. After
her husband's death, Mrs. Tieman moved to the town of Greenwood and
worked for five years in Katie's Cafe. She was a member of Grace
Methodist Church and Ladies Aid.
Surviving are three sons, Donald of Willard, Robert of Watersmeet,
Mich., and Roger of Lake Zurich, Ill: two daughters, Mrs. Charles
(Violet) Hoeper, Greenwood, and Mrs. James (Lila) Oelhafen,
Willard: one brother, Albert, Greenwood: 15 grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers, one
sister and her parents.
