Olga Ustianowski  (1917 - 1999)
 

Olga Ustianowski, 82, formerly of Lublin, died Saturday, May 15, at Oakbrook Manor in Thorp. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 19, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lublin with Rev. James Bartelme officiating.


Burial took place in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Frank Zuber, Jim Penk, Ed Liszewski, Louie Stokosa, Stanley Tokoz, and Joe Szepeniec.


Thorp Funeral Home in Thorp was in charge of arrangements.


The former Olga Stahura was born February 8, 1917, in Collinsville, Ill., to the late Martin and Caroline (Hallop) Stahura. Her marriage to Phillip Ustianowski took place on June 14, 1947, at Maternity Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Chicago, Ill. He died on April 23, 1990.


She and her husband moved to Lublin in 1966 and farmed in the Town of Roosevelt. She became a resident of Oakbrook Manor this past March.


Survivors include her children, George Ustianowski of Altoona, Paul Ustianowski of Thorp and Pat Tyler of Lublin three sisters, Julie Kowoski of Skokie, Ill., Mildred Stahura of Chicago and Helen Stahura of Illinois five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.


She was also preceded in death by a brother, John.

Olga Ustianowski, 82, Thorp, WI (formerly of Lublin), died Saturday, May 15, 1999 at Oakbrook Manor, Thorp.


Olga Stahura was born February 8, 1917 at Collinsville, IL to Martin and Caroline (Hallop) Stahura. She married Phillip Ustianowski June 14, 1947 at Maternity B.V.M. Church, Chicago, IL. The moved to Lublin from Chicago in 1966 and lived and farmed in the Town of Roosevelt until March 1999 when she because a resident of Oakbrook Manor, Thorp.


Surviving are three children: George Ustianowski of Altoona, WI, Paul Ustianowski of Thorp, WI and Pat Tyler of Lublin, WI 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and three sisters: Julie Kowoski of Skokie, IL, Mildred Stahura of Chicago, IL and Helen Stahura of Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Philip April 23, 1990 and 1 brother John.


Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 19, 1999, 10:30 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Dublin, WI with Rev. Jim Bartelme officiating. Burial was in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Lublin, WI. Pallbearers were: Frank Zuber, Jim Penk, Ed Liszewski, Louis Stokosa, Stanley Tokarz and Joe Szepeniec. Visitation was at the Thorp Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.
