Orville Venet
CORNELL - Orville Eli Venet, 84, of Cornell,
formerly of Withee, died March 22, 2001, at his Cornell
residence.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 16, 2001, at
Riverside Cemetery in Withee.
He was born Feb. 16, 1917, in the town of Hixon, rural Withee. He
worked as a carpenter constructing taconite plants in Minnesota,
retiring to Cornell in 1997.
He is survived by a daughter, Onalee Venet of Milwaukee and a
brother, Edward (Helen) Venet of Wheeling, Ill.
Maurina Funeral Service of Owen is in charge of the
arrangements.
