Marjorie M. Wawrzynice (Lawrence), 72, Lublin, died on Sunday, January 31, 1999, 6:19 a.m. in the emergency room of Memorial Hospital in Medford.


Funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 3, 1999, 11:00 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lublin, with Reverend Father James Bartelme officiating. Burial was in the Church Cemetery. Her 7 sons served as pallbearers. Visitation was at the Maurina Funeral Home, Owen on Tuesday, February 2, 1999 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary service at 7:00 p.m.


The former Marjorie Wiggins was born on May 18, 1926, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of John and Frances (Gorescski) Wiggins. Marjorie and Chester J. Wawrzynice were united in marriage on April 1, 1950, in Lombard, IL. Chester died on March 15, 1996.
Marjorie was employed with AT & T as a receptionist in the Oak Brook, IL office for 26 years. Retiring in 1990, she and her husband moved to the Town of Roosevelt, Taylor County. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.


She will be dearly missed by her family including three daughters: Patricia Bauer of Withee, Sharon (Willis) Robinson of Romoville, IL, Judith Lawrence of Lombard, IL seven sons: Edward (Debbie) Lawrence of Villa Park, IL, Richard (Madonna) Lawrence of Wheaton, IL, James Lawrence of Lombard, IL, Gregory (Peggy) Wawrynice of Bristol, IL, Chester Lawrence, Jr., of Coon Rapids, MN, David Lawrence of Lombard, IL, Christopher Lawrence of Lombard, IL and 15 Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister Loretta Wendt and a Grandson Shane.
