BARRY SCHMIDT

Barry Schmidt, 2 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Schmidt of Route 2, Loyal, Clark County, passed away at 5 a.m., Thursday, March 3, 1977. He had a lingering illness of cancer since June 1976.

Funeral services for Barry Schmidt were conducted on Saturday, March 5, a 11 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal, with Rev. Chester Osowski officiating. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Barry Schmidt was born at Neillsville on Aug. 6, 1974.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard (Betty Jordan) Schmidt three brothers, Bruce, Brian and Bradley, all at home nine sisters, Mrs. Charles (Brenda) Rueth, Spencer, and Barbara, Bernadette, Bonnie, Beverly, Betty Jean, Bernice, Becky and Bridgett, all at home his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Jordan of Willard and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Christine Schmidt, Loyal.

Pallbearers were Roger Rueth, Jerry Schmidt, Roy Rueth and Patrick Schmidt. Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, was in charge of arrangements.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Schmidt.
