Bernice Witek, 76, Lublin, died Monday morning, April 22, 1996 at Vicotry Medical Center, Stanley.
Bernice Kukala was born August 24, 1919. She married John J. Witek,
August 12, 1936 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Lublin. They
lived and farmed in the Town of Withee, Clark County, until 1973
when they became residents of Lublin. She was a member of St.
Stanislaus Catholic Church, Lublin.
Surviving are her husband John J. Witek, Lublin two daughters:
Eleanor (Dalen) Makeeff, Thorp, Alice (Dennis) Miller, Chicago six
grandchildren: Karen (Steve) Danczak, and Roseann (Robert) Danczak,
both of Marshfield, Karen (Steve) Haas, and Jim (Peggy) Makeeff,
both of Thorp, Susan Miller and Dennis Miller Jr., West Chicago, IL
13 great grandchildren and two sisters: Victoria Swienton, Chicago,
Ill and Anna Boryca, of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her
parents, Ignatz and Sophie Plachno 1 infant daughter, Mary Ann 1
brother Ernest and 1 sister Jennie.
Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, April 25, 1996,
10:30 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Lublin with Rev.
Brian Przyboroski, officiating. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus
Cemetery.
