Jerome Wollmer, 83, Gilman, WI died Saturday, December 11, 1999 at Cornell Area Care Center.

Jerome was born on January 26, 1916 at Lake DeNoon, Town of Muskego Lakes, Waukesha Co., WI, the son of Edward and Emma (Guhr) Wollmer. He grew up in that area and in 1951 moved to the Town of Raymond where he farmed and also was employed at American Motors Co. In 1974 he moved to the Town of Pershing in Taylor Co., WI and has lived there since. He entered the Cornell Area Care Center in November of 1999.

His funeral was at Gilman Funeral Home, Monday evening, December 13, 1999, 8:00 p.m., with Rev. Steven Haag officiating. Friends called at Gilman Funeral Home from 4:00 till 8:00 p.m. before the service. The deceased was taken to the Mealy-Koenig Funeral Home in Waterford, WI for a visitation from 4:00 till 6:00 p.m. and the service was at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday evening, December 14. The committal was at Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Hales Corners, WI at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 15th.

There are no immediate survivors. Jerome is survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents 3 brothers: Darrell, Roger, Harold and 3 sisters: Gladys, Myrtle, and Violet.
