ELLEN B. YSTAD

Ellen B. Ystad, 84, formerly of the town of Beaver, Clark County, died Friday, Sept. 8, 1989 at 8:20 a.m. at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen, Wis. Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 11, 1989 at Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood. Rev. Richard Sorenson officiated the service. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Ellen B. Ystad was born to Hans and Jorgina (Hembre) Ystad on July 20, 1905 in the town of Beaver. She received her education at Christopherson School and attended Greenwood High School. She worked in Milwaukee for a time. She was never married. She had been a long time resident at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen.

Survivors include one brother, Ralph Ystad, Greenwood three sisters, Mrs. Frank (Jeanette) Besel, Milwaukee Mrs. Amanda Goehring, Loyal Mrs. Elsie Jentz, San Diego, Calif.

Preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers and four sisters.

Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, handled the arrangements.
