MILLE SMITH PASSED AWAY MONDAY


Mrs. Mille Smith, 71, passed away at her home in this city, Monday afternoon, Sept. 16, 1935, at 3:40 o'clock, after an illness of about a years. The cause of her death was a stroke.


Mildred Lueck was born at Lake Mills, Jefferson County, Wis., Nov. 15, 1864, and was united in marriage to Herman Smith in 1882. They moved to Greenwood, Clark County in 1903, where she has since resided.


Deceased was a member of the local Reformed Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.


She is survived by the following children: Charles, Eau Claire Mrs. Fred Huss, Galesville Paul, Chippewa Falls Vern, Milwaukee and Leon, South Dakota.


Her husband and three daughters, Ione, Delia and Bernice preceded her in death.


Funeral services were held from the Reformed Church yesterday afternoon, Rev. E.G. Pfeiffer officiating. The body was laid to rest in the Greenwood Cemetery.
