GEORGE KOCHER PASSES AWAY


George Kocher, son of Louis and Mary Kocher, was born May 15, 1883 in Milwaukee and came to Greenwood, Clark County with his parents and brothers and sisters in 1912 and settled on a farm southeast of here in the Town of Eaton.


Mr. Kocher passed away Monday evening at 7:15 o'clock from a heart attack. He has been in poor health since last winter.


He was always a willing friend and neighbor and did good at every opportunity. He had reach the age of 58 years, 2 months and 15 days.


Funeral services will be held at the home Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock with Mrs. Ole Lowe of Neillsville, a Christian Science Reader will officiate and burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.


The pallbearers are John Schuering, Roy Lenz, George Scherer, Orlando Meyer, Hugo Lenz and Otto Roehl.


Those who will have charge of the flowers are Mmes. John Scheuring, Hugo Lenz, Otto Roehl, Orlando Meyer, Joe Rondorf and Louis Warnke.


Mr. Kocher who was unmarried, is survived by two brothers, Lynn at home and Fred of the town of Eaton and six sisters Cora, Laura and Ella at home Mrs. Jule (Rose) Voigt and Mrs. Wm. (Minnie) Beecher, Greenwood and Mrs. J. A. (Caroline) Chuppar of Milwaukee, five nephews, three nieces and one grand niece.


His mother passed away in 1920 and his father in 1921.
