OBITUARY
Chauncey S. Hurtley died at his home, two and
one half miles south of Greenwood, Clark County, at 5:45 o'clock
Monday afternoon, April, 20, 1914. He had been ill about six months
with Bright's disease.
The deceased was born in the town of Lima, Pepin County, Wis. April
20, 1871. He leaves to mourn his death a wife and three children,
Charles, Lloyd and Zelda his father, Thomas Hurtley of Mondovi and
five brothers, Wm. And Henry of Mondovi, Bert and Oliver of North
Dakota and Charley of California.
He was a most patient sufferer and in his death was lost a loving
husband and father and one of the best and most respected of
neighbors.
