HELEN PERKO
Helen C. Perko, 76, Willard, Clark County, died Monday, Oct. 19, 1992, at
Lancaster Memorial Hospital, due to a car accident on Highway 61 south of
Lancaster.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday,
Oct. 24, 1992, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard. Rev. Michael Mertens
officiated. Burial was in Holy Family Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Shaun Loter, Vincent Darrow,
Patrick Darrow, Clarence Wagner, Wayne Wagner and Brian Wagner.

Lindemann was born July 17, 1916, in Buffalo, Iowa, to Herman and Hilda (nee
Kane) Lindemann.
She received her education in Greenwood,
graduating from Greenwood High School in 1934. She married Fred Perko Sept. 14,
1939, in Greenwood. He survives. They owned and operated Perko's First and Last
Chance Tavern in Davenport, Iowa, until 1972, when they moved to Willard. They
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1989. She was a member of Holy
Family Catholic Church, Slvenska Druzba Club, and was an officer in the Willard
Athletic Club.
Survivors include her husband two daughters, Mrs.
Eugene (Mildred) Darrow, and Mrs. Dennis (Ruth Ann) Loter, both of Davenport,
Iowa one sister, Mrs. Marian Henning, New Auburn and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one
sister, June.
Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
