OLD RESIDENT GONE
Benjamin F. Chase, an old pioneer of Clark County, died at Waukesha, Wis., Sept. 29, 1909, age 93 years. He came to Wisconsin in 1858 and settled in Neillsville, and studied law under Judge Dewhust.
Later he was elected county clerk. He served in the 19th Wis. Infantry during the Civil War. After the war he settled in Augusta, where he was married, and about eighteen years ago he moved to Waukesha.
