CHARLES J. HANNAH OF CHRISTIE CAME TO CLARK COUNTY IN 1869
Died, Wednesday, April 24, 1907, at his home, Christie, Clark County, Charles J. Hannah, aged 67 years.
Charles James Hannah was born Aug. 17, 1840 at St. George, Canada. He was married Nov. 3. 1862 to Miss Mary A. Boon, and came to Neillsville, Wis in 1869, moving to his present home at Christie in 1874, where he resided until his death. He leaves besides his wife eight children, William, James, Robert, who live in Portland, Ore. and Mrs. Geo. La Fleur, Mrs. Will Hulburt, Mrs. Oscar Northrup, Mrs. John Garvin of Spokane, Wash., and Mrs. Geo. Barr of Lacomb, Ore. The children in the west were unable to be here. The funeral was held at his residence at two o'clock Friday, Rev. W. T. Hendren of Greenwood officiating. The interment was in the Christie Cemetery.
