M.H. DUNCAN DIES FRIDAY
Myron H. Duncan, 67, superintendent of the Clark County Hospital for the past 16 years, died of pneumonia at 8:45 o'clock Friday night, March 20, 1936 at Owen. He had been confined to his bed for the past two weeks.
Mr. Duncan was born at Wonewoc, Wis., Nov. 24, 1869, and moved to Wausau while he was a young man. He was married to Miss Clara Ringle at Wausau, Oct. 7, 1896.
Mr. Duncan was affiliated with many organizations, being Knight Templar of the Masonic order, a member of the Knights of Pythias, a member of the Eastern Star, Fraternal Reserved Association, Modern Woodman of America and the U.C.T., and was chairman of the Disaster Committee of the Red Cross.
Funeral services were conducted at the Clark County Hospital Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. Bishop Wilson of Eau Claire officiating. The body was then taken to Wausau where Masonic rites were held at 2:00 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, one son, Myron of New York City, noted opera tenor, and one brother, Homer, of Winona, Minn.
