OBITUARY OF CHARLES STARK


Charles Stark
, son of Ludwig and Louisa Stark, was born in Vernikow, East Prignit, Germany, Feb. 9, 1868. When he was three years old the family moved to Appleton, Wis.


On Oct. 28, 1891, he was united in marriage to Anna Grube. Eight children were born to this union, two daughters died in infancy. Those surviving are his widow, Frank at Seymour, Wis., Elsie (Mrs. Frank Tiedt) of Shioctonn, Wis., and Alfred Alma, George and Robert at home, one brother and one sister at Appleton, Wis, six grandchildren and a host of friends. One brother passed away at St. Mary's, Idaho in May 1936.


Deceased came to work on a farm in the town of Mead in 1916 and in 1919 the family made the town of Mead, Clark County farm their home.


He suffered a stroke of apoplexy and entered St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, June 25, where he passed away Saturday morning July 4, 1936.


Funeral services were held from the home and Braun Settlement Church Tuesday afternoon, Rev. E.G. Pfeiffer officiating. The body was laid to rest in the Braun Settlement Cemetery.


The sympathy of all friends is extended to the bereaved family.
