OBITUARY OF WILLIAM F. ROEWERT
William Frederick Roewert, son of Michael and Charlotte Goetch Roewert, was born in Sheboygan May 7, 1861 and died Friday morning, Nov. 30, 1929, at 1:45 o'clock.
He was married to Maria Wheeler, Sept. 6, 1884. They resided in the town of Center for ten years, then moved to Clark
County, where he has since resided. Mrs. Roewert died Oct. 15, 1911. In 1914 Mr. Roewert was united in marriage to Charlotte Augusta Sibert of Clinton, Wis.
He is survived by his widow, one daughter, Mrs. G. B. Rowald, Magnolia three sons, Louis of Seattle, Wash. Charles of Janesville, Wis. Roy of Chicago, Ill. one sister, Mrs. C. Bowers of Milwaukee, Wis. two brothers, Albert of Tilden, Neb. Herman of Kansas City, Mo. A daughter, Ella, died in infancy and a sister, Mrs. Chas. Klug of Seattle, Wash., preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the Trinity Lutheran Church, Greenwood, of which he was a member, Rev. Geo. Heilman officiating. The body was taken to Janesville at 1:00 p.m. Monday for burial in Bethel Cemetery, Center. The Rev. Harrison Rex of Janesville officiated at the grave.
The Schiller Undertaking firm took the body to Janesville by Ambulance.
Relatives from out of town attending the funeral were Mrs. B. Goetch, Mrs. Chas. Bower and son, Roy, Milwaukee Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Sibert, Manchester, Ill. Mr. and Mrs. John Sibert, Bergen, Ill. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Smith, Shemung, Ill. Mr. and Mrs. C. Fehrm, Darien, Wis. Wm. Sibert, Delevan, Wis. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Minkey, Clinton, Wis. Mr. and Mrs. James McCarthy, Janesville, Wis. Miss Josephine Wheeler, Janesville, Wis. Frank Bennett, Magnolia.
