MRS. NEEDHAM DIES SUDDENLY
Mrs. Velzora Needham, nee Woodard, was born at Preston, Wis., Oct. 3, 1862. When a young girl she moved with her parents to Cresco, Iowa. Aug. 24, 1887 she was united in marriage to Wm. Needham. To this union were born nine children, three preceding her in death. Florence in infancy, Eli, Nov. 3, 1920, and Hannah (Mrs. Verel Rogers) March 25, 1921.
In the year 1903 they moved to Preston, Wis., and later to Fennimore. For the past eight years she has made her home among her children.
Deceased will be remembered by all that knew her as a devoted wife and mother and a helpful friend. She was in ill health for the past year, but bore all her suffering patiently.
She passed away at the home of her daughter (Greenwood, Clark County), Mrs. Paul Borham, Jan. 10, 1933 at the age of 70 years, 3 months and 7 days.
She leaves to mourn her loss, four sons, Albert, George and Orville of Fennimore and Walter of Stanley two daughters, Mary (Mrs. H. Buening) of Fennimore and Ada (Mrs. Paul Borham) of Greenwood, besides many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held from the Methodist Church of Fennimore on Thursday at 2:30 p.m., Rev. Byrd officiating, with interment in the White Cemetery.
