MRS. OSCAR BEYER IS LAID TO REST
Funeral services for the late Mrs. Florence Beyer, who died Oct. 6, 1933
at her home in Casper, Wyo., were held at 2 o clock Sunday afternoon,
Oct. 8th, Rev. Charles A. Wilson officiating.
Burial was made in the Masonic lot at Highland Cemetery, beside the
grave of a daughter, Rita Jean, who died three years ago. The Fort
Casper Chapter No. 4, Order of Eastern Star, of which the deceased was a
member, had charge of the services at the cemetery.
A resident of Casper for 16 years, Mrs. Beyer came from Dickinson, N.D.,
where she had resided most of her life. She was born 45 years ago in
Fitzwilliams, N. H.
Ill for a considerable time, Mrs. Beyer had undergone a major operation
which failed to remedy her condition. She rallied slightly the day
before her death, after several blood transfusion had been performed,
but these served only to prolong life.
Members of her immediate family are her husband, Oscar F. Beyer, and two
daughters, Florence Elizabeth, 12, and Mona Phyllis, 5, of the family
home, 837 South McKinley Street, Casper, Wyo. Mr. Beyer is a son of Mrs.
August Beyer of Greenwood, Clark County, and is proprietor of the
Natrona Market in Casper. Other survivors are her father, Dr. H. A.
Davis, of Rapid City, S.D., a brother, Home I. Davis of Arlee, Mont.,
and a sister, Mrs. Myron Leffingwell of Denver.
Pallbearers were C. J. Carter, Carleton Riley, W.R. Turner, Sindey
Morrison, Tom Jessen and Earl Hollis.
The many local friends of Mr. Beyer extend their sympathy.
