FUNERAL OF FRANK WESLING HELD SATURDAY
Funeral services for Frank Wesling were held at Greenwood, Clark County Saturday forenoon at 9:30 at St. Mary's Church with Father Philip Weller officiating. Interment was made in the Catholic Cemetery.
Frank Wesling died Wednesday morning, May 1, 1935, at his farm home in Greenwood, after an illness of short duration.
A very large crowd of sorrowing relatives and friends attended the services. Pallbearers were Lawrence Kitzhaber, Albert Herr, Ed Klinke, Wm. Denk, Joe Kohlnhofer and Andrew Lindner.
Deceased was born Feb. 18, 1877 in the Town of Herman, Sheboygan County, where he
received his education. He was united in marriage to Anna Schwartz on Jan. 10, 1905, and their wedding journey took them to their farm in Greenwood.
The next fifteen years were spent on this farm. In Aug. 1920 they sold their farm and moved to Plymouth, where he worked in the Krafts factory during the following four years. Oct. 1, 1924, they returned to their farm here, where he resided until the time of his death.
Mr. Wesling was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and of the Holy Name Society.
Survivors include his widow and niece, Elizabeth Schwartz, who has been making her home with them for the past 13 years. She is a senior in the Greenwood High School and will graduate May 23, one brother, Ben Wesling, Plymouth , Wis. two half brothers, Henry Wesling, Bath, S.D. and Joe Wesling of Marshfield, five sisters, Mrs. Nick Wagner, Cleveland, Mrs. John Lindamann, Sheboygan, Mrs. Rudolph Kirsch, Elkhart Lake, Mrs. Nick Weiter, Cleveland, and Mrs. Wm. Klenof of Cleveland, two brothers-in-law, Nick Bachaus and Adam Platten of St. Nazianz.
Relatives and friends from out of town who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Ben Wesling, Plymouth, Giles Miley, Sheboygan Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Klein, Cleveland, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Weiter, Cleveland, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Klein, Cleveland, Mr. and Jrs. John Wagner, Meeme, Calr Wagner, Meeme, Joe Schwartz and son Clarence and daughter Loriena, Meeme, Harry, Frances, Cathryn and Norbert Schwartz, brothers and sister of Elizabeth, of Sheboygan, Frank Wagner and daughter Violet and son, Alfred, St. Nazianz, Nick Becha, St. Nazianz, Joe Kutz, Meeme, Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Loos, Mrs. Art Becker, Mr. and Mrs. Philip Beaver and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hecker of Loyal.
Mr. Wesling was a man of remarkable personality. He was generous, ambitious and a hard worker. Due to his friendly character he was well liked by everyone and he leaves a wide circle of friends.
