JAMES C. WHEATON
James C. Wheaton, 55, a former Waukesha resident, died Thursday of a heart attack. He was visiting friends in Vincennes, Ind., at the time of his death.
He had lived in Indiana for eight years, managing a feed mill. He farmed in the Loyal, Clark County area at one time.
While in Waukesha, he started and operated the Pleasant Valley Egg Farm on Highway 59.
Wheaton was a World War II veteran.
He is survived by his wife Josephine daughters Mrs. Joseph (Marion) Javorsky and Mrs. Patti Williams, both of Waukesha, and Mrs. Mary Jo Ludtke of Genesee Town son James of Waukesha brother Ralph of Milwaukee and sisters, Mrs. Helen Tomlinson of Edina, Minn., Mrs. Doris Pierick of Highland and Mrs. Mary Kepler of New Berlin.
Services were held at the Rudolph Funeral Home in Waukesha. Burial was at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha. Attending from Loyal were Mr. and Mrs. Allan Schoorover.
