CONDUCT RITES FOR MRS. M.A. PFUNDER
MINNEAPOLIS WOMAN DIES IN MIAMI BEACH BURIED IN GREENWOOD

Greenwood--Funeral services for Mrs. Mary A. Tomek Pfunder, 73, Minneapolis, Minn., were held at St. Stephen's Church, Minneapolis, on March 28, Later a service was conducted by the Rev. C. R. Gaylord at the Greenwood, Clark County Cemetery, where interment was made. Mrs. Pfunder died March 24, 1938 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Miami Beach, Fla., where she was spending the winter months.

Born in Bohemia, June 7, 1864, she came to America at the age of seven with her parents and a brother. They settled in Baltimore, Md., living there a short time before going to Two Rivers, Wis. In 1885 she was married to F. H. Pfunder in Milwaukee and resided there for 10 years. With the exception of a few years spent in Duluth, Minn. she made her home in Minneapolis ever since, although she traveled abroad and had for the last five years, spent the winter months in Miami Beach, Fla.

She is survived by one son, Dr. Malcolm Pfunder, Minneapolis one brother, Wenzel Tomek, Two Rivers, Wis. and five grandchildren.
Two daughters and her husband preceded her in death, Viola Pfunder Lusk died on Aug. 21, 1918 Elsie Pfunder Bannerman died July 16, 1921 and Mr. Pfunder died in Rochester, July 16, 1931.

Pallbearers for the funeral were Lou Dimler, Albert Schwarze, Ed Buker, Charles Varney, Joseph Arends, and Claude Carter.
