OBITUARY OF EMIL ROBERT KLEIN
Emil Robert Klein was born August 28, 1883 in the Town of Beaver, Clark County and passed away Aug. 1, 1938 at the age of 54 years, 11 months and 4 days. His death was due to a heart attack, which occurred while driving home from Lake Geneva with his wife.
At the age of 9 months he moved with his parents to their farm north of Loyal, where he lived until his health failed and he was forced to seek lighter work, which he found on the Silmore estate at Lake Geneva. Mr. and Mrs. Klein moved there five months ago.
He was united in marriage to Mary Yench on Nov. 30, 1914. To this union was born one daughter, Inez.
His death, though sudden, was painless. He was a member of the Loyal Methodist Church and Modern Woodmen of America. His parents preceded him in death his mother Aug. 22, 1922 and his father June 20, 1935.
He was laid to rest in Pine Grove Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife and daughter, Mrs. Charles Rankin of Litchfield, Ill., one brother, Richard, of Waukesha and many other relatives and friends.
He was known as a man of rugged strength and much of his early life was spent in the logging camps of Clark County. He helped to raise many barns in his community and could always be found at the highest peak. He was a lover of out door life, and found particular pleasure in hunting and fishing.
He will long be remembered by all who knew him as a loving husband and father, and a good neighbor.
