OBITUARY OF MRS. CHARLES COREY


Stella Anne Honey
, daughter of Wm. And Sarah Honey, was born in 1864 and quietly passed away at her home Saturday morning, Feb. 4, 1939 at 8:00 o'clock. Death followed an illness of several weeks.


The departed was united in marriage to Charles A. Corey in Watertown, Oct. 19, 1887. They moved to their farm southwest of Loyal, Clark County 23 years ago, where they continued to make their home.


The deceased leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, two sons and five daughters. The sons are Mervin of Winchester and Howard of Greenwood. The daughters, Edith (Mrs. August Lemberg), Loyal Alice (Mrs. Chas. Perkins), Greenwood Sadie (Mrs. Arthur Jacobsen), Sioux City, Iowa Mrs. Olive Bennett, Loyal, and Florence who resides at home. She also leaves four grandchildren, Jack and Gary Corey, Greenwood George Corey, Oak Park, Ill. and Betty Jane Jacobsen, Sioux City, Iowa.


Funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, Rev. Ortmeyer of St. Katherine Episcopal Church, Owen, officiating. Interment was made in the family lot at Oak Hill Cemetery in Watertown. Rev. Harry Pullett of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Watertown, officiated at the burial service.


Among the out of town relatives who attended the funeral were Mrs. M. W. Corey and son, George of Oak Park, Ill.. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Jacobsen and daughter Betty of Sioux City, Iowa, were unable to attend due to illness of Mrs. Jacobsen.
