OBITUARY OF ROBERT HARMS
Robert Harms was born in Woodford County, Ill. On Jan. 14, 1860. He was united in marriage to Jessie Pullen
(Actually Jessie Prudence Allen) in 1887, and to this union was born seven children, Allen, Emily, Fern, Clarence, Iva, Oleen and Edna.
In 1900 Mr. Harms and family moved to Indiana, where they resided for 17 years, at which time they moved to Owen, Clark County. His wife and daughter, Emily, preceded him in death.
Mr. Harms was a faithful father, a good neighbor and a devout Christian. He leaves to mourn his passing the above named children, 16 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 1 brother in Idaho and a host of friends.
Mr. Harms passed away at his home south of Owen on Saturday, Feb. 8, 1939 from heart trouble. Funeral services were conducted from the Griebenow-Weirich Funeral Parlors on Monday, Feb. 10, Rev. J. H. Rostad conducted the services. Interment was made in Riverside Cemetery.
