EULA THOMPSON
 

Mrs. Eula Thompson, 51, of Columbus, formerly of Greenwood, Clark County, was dead on arrival at 12:30 a.m. Sunday at a Columbus hospital.


Funeral services for Mrs. Thompson were conducted at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 3, at the Jones Funeral Home in Columbus, with burial in the Columbus Cemetery.


The former Eula White, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James White, was born Sept. 8, 1925, in the Town of Eaton. She was married to Purnell Thompson in 1947 in Columbus. They were former owners of the Amber Inn Supper Club in Loyal.


She is survived by two sons, Thomas of Janesville and Tim at home two daughters, Kristi of Louisiana and Michelle at home two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Elaine) Bauer and Mrs. Harold (Melva) Hendrickson, both of Greenwood one brother, Kenneth White of Rockford, Ill., and one grandson.


She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one brother.
