WM. GRANSE SR. TAKE OWN LIFE
Wm. Gramse, Sr., 56, was found dead in the barn on the Alfred Preller farm Friday morning by his son. He had taken his own life by hanging himself. His children reported that he has been very melancholy for some time.
Mr. Gramse was born in Dakota Township, Waushara County on Oct. 27, 1882, the son of Julius and Pauline Gramse. He resided on a farm near Wautoma until about a month ago, when he and his children moved onto the Alfred Preller farm in the Town of Warner, Clark County. His wife passed away four years ago.
The body was taken to Wautoma, where funeral services were conducted and where he was laid to rest.
He is survived by two daughters, Doris of Wautoma, Adeline of the Town of Warner and two sons, Stanley and Wm. Jr., of the Town of Warner.
