MRS. MARIA PERMAN PASSES AWAY

Mrs. Maria Perman was born in Katav, Yugoslavia, Sept. 8, 1848 and came to this country twenty years ago and has made her home with her son Dan ever since, and where she passed away about 9:00 o'clock Sunday evening, Dec. 3, 1939 after an illness of three weeks. She had reached the age of 91 years.

She is survived by her son Dan Perman of Greenwood, Clark County, one daughter, Mrs. Jennie Ruzic of Pennsylvania, and seven grandchildren. Five children and Mr. Perman passed away in Yugoslavia.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 9:00 from St. Mary's Catholic Church, with Rev. Father J. J. Novak officiating. The body was laid to rest in the Catholic Cemetery.

The pallbearers were Jos. Mikottis, Ed Klinke, Jos. Kohlnhofer, Wm. Denk, Joe Gregorich and Dick Braun.

Miss Dede Perman of Eau Claire was here to attend the funeral.
