FORMER RESIDENT DIES AT HOLCOMBE
Dell D. Williams, 63, a former resident of Greenwood, Clark County, passed away at his home north of Holcombe on Thursday, Aug. 1st, 1940. Mr. Williams was a resident of this vicinity for many years and lived on a farm south of Greenwood.
He was born in Ontario, Wis. Sept. 7, 1876 and was united in marriage to Beulah Aegerter on June 18, 1902. Four sons were born to this union, Everett, Carl, Kenneth and Holley, all of Holcombe.
Besides his wife and sons, he is survived by nine grandchildren and five brothers.
Funeral services were held at Cornell Saturday, Aug. 3rd, and the body was taken to Ontario for buiral.
Mr. William was a veteran of the Spanish American War and an escort from the Ladysmith American Legion accompanied the body to the last resting place.
