BABY ARNOLD MECH DROWNS IN PUDDLE
Arnold Mech, 1 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Mech, former Marshfield and Willard, Clark County resents, was drowned at 7 o'clock Sunday night when he fell into a puddle of water while playing at his home in the Town of Wien, near Edgar.
Dr. Schultz of Edgar was called but the child was already dead.
An angel high mass was read at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning at St. John's Catholic Church, Edgar, the Rev. Augustine L. Olbert officiating. Burial was made in Marshfield in the Catholic Cemetery at Hillsdale.
Arnold is survived by his parents and nine brothers and sisters, Mrs. P. Zelnisk and Esther, both of Boyd, and Nancy, Raymond, Henry, Herbert, Clement, Emil and Francis, all at home. Arnold was the youngest in the family.
