OTTO LEMKE
Funeral services for Otto Lemke, 84, former Loyal, Clark County resident, were held
Tuesday, Sept. 6, at the Rinka Funeral Home. Mr. Lemke resided at Neillsville Memorial
Home and passed away at 1:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 2, 1977, at the Neillsville Home.
Rev. Bruno Schlactenhaufen officiated and Mrs. Erwin Dux was the soloist, accompanied
by Mrs. Kenneth Voss on the organ. Interment was made in the Lutheran Cemetery.
Otto Lemke was born in the Town of Sherman on Oct. 16, 1892. He was married to Mathilda
Young at Loyal on April 24, 1916.
They farmed two miles east of Loyal in the Town of Loyal until 1957, when he retired.
He moved to the Town of Sherman until his wife's death on Dec. 13, 1972, when he
moved to the Greenwood Hotel and lived there until Nov. 1976, when he moved to the
Neillsville Home.
He is survived by one sister, Mrs. William (Martha) Wehrman of Loyal, and one brother,
Henry of Loyal.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mathilda one sister one brother and one child
at birth.
Performing duties as pallbearers were Paul Bugar, Don Bugar, Leo Bugar, Clarence
Hoesley, Ben Skoog and Earl Cammers.
Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, was in charge of arrangements.
