OBITUARY OF MIKE TRAMPUSH LIAD TO REST

Michael Trampush, so of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tampush, was born in Washington, Ill. On Jan. 6, 1911 and passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield on Saturday, Dec.28, 1940, from injuries received in an automobile accident that afternoon at about 5:30 p.m.

Mike and his brother John were returning from Madison, where Mike had been a patient in the hospital for several weeks, when the truck which they were driving collided with the rear end of another. Mike received injuries from which he was unable to recover. John, although seriously injured is recovering nicely at St. Joseph's Hospital.

At an early age Mike moved to Owen, Clark County with his parents, where they resided many years and where he received his education, later attending the Eau Claire Business institute at Eau Claire. Several years ago his parents moved to the present farm three miles northeast of Greenwood, where they have since resided. Mike and his brother Frank became engaged in local trucking activities and later also engaged in farming for themselves.

Funeral services were held Thursday morning, Jan. 2, 1941 at 9:00 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with Rev. J .J. Novak officiating. Interment was made in the Catholic Cemetery.

He is survived by his parents, three brothers, John of Loyal Frank and Henry at home, seven sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Mary) Nartnick, Stefi, Julia and Frances of Chicago Ann of Willard and Regina and Josephine at home.

Out of town relatives besides the above named sisters here for the funeral included Mrs. Matt Debelak and daughter Dorothy of Summit, Ill. And Joseph Nartnick and son Thomas of Chicago.

Pallbearers were Fred Perko, Louis Vogal, Louis Kebl of Greenwood Matt Meriak, Loyal John Prepeluh and Albert Novak of Bright.

The high esteem in which Mike was held in the community was evidenced by the many beautiful floral and spiritual offerings and the large crowd who attended the burial. A kind and loving son, brother and friend has gone from our midst, leaving a vacancy that can never be filled.
