ROY COTA PASSES AWAY


Roy F. Cota
passed away suddenly of heart failure on Saturday, Feb. 15, 1941 at his home in Madison. He had reached the age of 55 years.


Mr. Cota was born in 1885 at Eureka, near Berlin, Wis. With his parents he moved to Missouri and then to Clark County, living near Loyal and Neillsville. At one time Mr. Cota was operator of the Greenwood Municipal light plant.


On Nov. 29, 1906 Mr. Cota married Miss Florence Snyder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Snyder of Greenwood, at Marshfield.


He is survived by his wife and son Rex of Madison and daughter, Mrs. Helen Myers of Long Beach, Calif. 3 grandchildren an older half brother and younger sister.


Burial was made Tuesday, Feb. 18 at Madison.
